Artificial photosynthesis vs. other fuels
Artificial photosynthesis, which is known as a chemical based process, has the ability to become a renewable energy source that can supply much less expensive and storable fuel
- The creation of fossil fuels (such as coal) requires the use of mines and refining plants, using up natural resources and contributing to the growing amount of pollution in the atmosphere
- The use of wind turbines and corn products takes up a large space of land to function
- Even solar panel (which use photovoltaic cells) depend on sunlight and can not function during storms or other forms of bad weather
Artificial photosynthesis doesn't require the use of mines of land. It uses water and carbon dioxide (which are readily available) in a process that removes pollutants from the air... all while not harming the environment
